At Mike Albert, we spend a lot of time thinking about, talking about, and living our company values. In fact, we think they are so crucial to our success that we spent the better part of a year developing them—a process that included surveying our associates, conducting listening sessions, borrowing best practices from other companies, and beyond.
And while we spend a tremendous amount of time reinforcing our values internally, we recently decided it was important to share them with the outside world. Not just why they’re important to us but how they shape the way we do business and why they might be beneficial aspirations for other organizations to pursue.
Enter: Navigating the High Road—a new series exploring Mike Albert’s company values, written by the leaders who help to instill them, day in, day out.
In the coming months, we’ll dive into each of the values below, exploring their meaning and how we utilize them to guide and inspire our future. The first of the series, written by our longtime CEO Marty Betagole, will be published the beginning of March.
