Mike Albert Vehicle Fleet Management, a national leader in the fleet management industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Armstrong to Manufacturer Relations Manager.
Armstrong, who began his new role Dec. 1, will now be responsible for strengthening relationships and interactions with vehicle manufacturers and dealers. He will also strategize with clients to determine their needs and identify the optimal fleet solution across all manufacturers.
“It’s more important than ever for us to be experts when it comes to the manufacturers,” said Todd Ryan, Vice President, Remarketing and Manufacturer Relations for Mike Albert. “Over the past few years, the supply model for the auto industry has changed completely. There are no longer the large pools of vehicles that existed in the past; manufacturers are making only enough supply to meet the anticipated demand. We need to be proactive and forward-thinking in order to ensure we can get our customers the vehicles they need and Steve is a big part of how we accomplish that.”
Armstrong has more than 18 years of experience with Mike Albert and has held positions in the Rental Department, Wholesale Operations and, most recently, the Purchasing Department.
