In 1928, Mike Albert opened the doors of his used car dealership in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1957, the company entered the fleet leasing business as a way to generate a steady supply of quality used vehicles for the dealership. The fleet side of the business grew, with fleet leasing and management eventually becoming the company’s primary focus.
Robert Betagole, Mike Albert Fleet Solutions Chief Executive Officer, acquired the business from his uncles, Mike Albert and Ray Nathan, in the 1970s, and the Betagole family continues to operate and manage the business today. Robert’s daughter, Marty Betagole, serves as the company’s current President, while Robert’s sons, John and Richard Betagole, serve as Vice Presidents.
