Our History
In 1928, Mike Albert established a used car dealership in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company entered the leasing business in 1957 as a way to generate used vehicles to sell and over the years, the leased fleet continued to grow.
In the 1970s, current Chief Executive Officer Robert Betagole acquired the business from his uncles, Mike Albert and Ray Nathan. He and his family continue to operate and manage the business today.
Robert is Mike Albert's CEO, his daughter, Marty Betagole, is the company’s President and his sons, Richard and John Betagole, serve as Vice Presidents.
The company has vehicles on lease in all 50 states, as well as in Puerto Rico and Canada. While its headquarters remain located in Cincinnati, the company’s sales representatives are strategically located throughout the country to handle customer requirements nationwide. In addition to fleet leasing, Mike Albert provides a wide array of fleet management services.
In an industry where mergers and acquisitions are common, Mike Albert Leasing's growth has been exclusively internal. The company now employs over 200 people. With this growth comes a wealth of experience, while ensuring consistency in vision, mission and quality.
