AutoTag saves your company time, eliminating the need for your drivers to wait in line at the DMV and freeing up hours your fleet administrator would otherwise spend sorting through receipts and expense reports and dealing with past due license plate and registration renewals.
Under the AutoTag program, we take care of registration renewals for your drivers in all 50 states. Instead of multiple receipts from multiple drivers, you receive one monthly consolidated invoice that details registration fees for your entire fleet.
With this program, you have access to online Re-Registration Status Reports through our Customer Access site. This report allows you to view all plates due to expire within a 90 day period and verify that that you want them all renewed. We take it from there.
When a vehicle’s registration comes up for renewal, we ask your drivers to supply us with the necessary documentation. We then process the paperwork and send the new license plates or stickers along with the current registration directly to your drivers. It’s that simple.

At Mike Albert Leasing we work to take the hassle out of vehicle licensing and titling. Each customer account is assigned to a specific License and Title Representative, who knows your company and is equipped to answer all of your questions.
Your leased vehicle will come complete with its initial title and state license plate and will be ready to drive upon delivery in most cases.
We obtain the initial title for all of our leased vehicles and work with our delivering dealerships to obtain state licenses (temporary tags or permanent plates depending on state regulations). If your state requires drivers to apply for initial license plates in person, we will provide them with licensing instructions to help them work through the process as quickly as possible.
Our value added AutoTag program makes renewing license plates and registrations especially easy, allowing you and your employees to stay focused on your business and avoid standing in line at the DMV.
With extensive experience in licensing and titling services, we can assist you in transitioning vehicles during a company merger or acquisition. Our license and title experts can help you sort through financial and legal issues so that your leased vehicles are properly re-titled and licensed as soon as possible.
We also arrange for state-to-state transfers of your leased vehicles, obtaining new state registrations and license plates for you. Our license and title representatives process the necessary paperwork directly with state offices and mail the new plates to your drivers. In cases where a local inspection is required, we will instruct your drivers in fulfilling the requirements.
If your company-owned vehicles are located in several states or are assigned to several cost centers, the titles may be stored in different buildings, making access difficult and increasing the risk of loss. For your convenience and peace of mind, we offer a Title Retention Program that allows you to send the titles to our Title & License Department Library for safekeeping in a secure, fireproof location. When you request a vehicle title, we will retrieve it from storage and mail it to you.
As a Mike Albert customer, you will also benefit from our knowledge and experience when it comes to taxes.
We will arrange for convenient and on time payment of property and sales tax on all your vehicles and provide you with your tax records for auditing purposes. We will verify your tax assessments and pay your state, county or local taxes and then include the charges on your monthly variable/miscellaneous bill. There is no fee for tax processing.
Our Customer Access site allows you to access the tax data we track for you and generate a Taxes Paid Report sorted by state, cost center or category.
